Thai Currency
The currency is the Baht, a sub-division is the Satang. Baht Coins are : One, two, five and ten,
these are silver coloured except for the ten baht which is bimetallic. There are small 25 and 50
satang coins that are gold coloured but these are nearly worthless and will only be offered in change
in the supermarkets.
The notes are : Twenty, fifty, one hundred, five hundred, and the largest denomination a 1,000
baht.
